Creating Images with Generative AI

Generating an Image

Let's take a look at a possible workflow. To generate the first sample, it is recommended that you provide the image and prompt and keep all the rest settings default.

  1. Prepare your design or customize one of the templates from the Design Gallery with the Generative AI filter selected. Make sure that the aspect ratio of your design is 1:1, 1:2 or 2:1.
  2. Bring up the AI Wizard by clicking on the Button in the main window that opens the AI Wizard. button in the main window.
  3. Decide whether you want to use an image, prompt or both as the input. Using both of them is recommended, so the following steps will rely on two input sources.
  4. Type in the prompt. Use adjectives and nouns rather than complete sentences. Separate parts of the prompt with commas. Don't use negation in the negative prompt. For example, if you don't want a dark output, add "dark" to the negative prompt (don't type "not dark").
  5. Click the Generate button. The process may take about a minute.
  6. The generated sample will appear in the preview. The thumbnail of the current sample will be highlighted below the preview. If you have already generated several samples, you can compare them by clicking on their thumbnails. Then you can export one you like or create more samples.

Before creating another sample, decide what you would like to improve. Don't change too many settings at the same time. If you do that, the result may be less predictable, and you wouldn't know which of the settings made a new sample better or worse.

Using the same seed with the same prompt, input image and the rest of the settings will produce an identical result.

One of the strategies may look as follows. Generate a few samples with random seeds (this happens automatically). Choose a sample that you want to improve, display it in the preview. Click on the "i" icon in order to bring up the details that are needed to reproduce this sample. Copy the seed. Then open the Advanced Settings, activate the Use Seed option and paste the seed. Adjust the prompt or other settings and run the generator once more.

In the same way, you can copy the prompt if a previous description produced a good result.

All generated samples are stored in the same Art Text document along with the original design. This means that:
