Exporting and Printing
Exporting
You can export your design to a graphic file or copy it to the Clipboard.
To export your document to a graphic file:
- Select File > Export in the main menu, or click the Export button at the bottom right corner of the canvas and choose File…
- Type a file name and choose a destination folder.
- Select an image format in the Format drop-down list.
- Set up the available settings.
- Click the Save button.
Exporting Layers Separately
You can export your design so that each layer will be saved as an individual file. This can be helpful if you want to edit or combine those layers using some other application. To do this, activate the Export Layers to Individual Files option.
Exporting to the Clipboard
To copy your design to the Clipboard, click the Export button at the bottom of the canvas and choose Clipboard.
Your design will be exported in the PDF format. In the program Preferences, you can set up the image resolution for raster graphics to be copied to the Clipboard.
Sharing
Upon clicking the Export button below the canvas, you can find several sharing options. Instead of saving the design on the hard drive, it will be sent to a particular application or service. This function requires that you have installed and set up the respective application. Or, you should create a user account for the respective service and have your computer connected to the Internet.
